Do you know a nonprofit organization that could benefit from a Day of Service provided by AFP-GHC volunteers? If so, please take a few minutes to nominate them to be the recipient of this special day when our Chapter volunteers will come together to help nonprofits in our community. The deadline for nominations is Friday, June 15, 2012. The Day of Service Committee will select the winner, or winners, who will be announced at the end of June. To qualify an organization must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and be nominated by an AFP-GHC member. The First Annual Day of Service will take place Friday, September 28th. The National Philanthropy Day luncheon will take place on November 15, 2012 and will honor and recognize those who contribute to Houston's philanthropic organizations. Awards nominations may be submitted starting May 1, 2012 and must be submitted by May 31, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. For more information, click here.

This interactive workshop will allow participants to learn and practice strategic planning processes to define fundraising goals.
